Alastair Shore is appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Berkley Select

Alastair Shore has over 30 years of experience in the property casualty insurance business and holds the Fellow of both the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and the Institute of Actuaries (FIA). He is also a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Alastair has held various leadership roles for major insurance companies including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Actuary. Alastair holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics & Management from Cambridge University, UK.

Upon Mr. Shore’s appointment, Dan Spragg, president of Berkley Select, said, “I am excited to have Alastair join our leadership team as COO.
